SAVING THE ENVIRONMENT = SAVING MONEY

Rain Water Tanks/Grey Water Tanks

With the heavy rainfalls of recent years, there is no better time to install a rainwater tank. It is not only the environmentally-friendly option; but will reduce your water bills, give you freedom in times of water restrictions and potentially entitle you to government rebates.

Other devices we can install include water diverter kits, water tank pumps, downpipe kits, filters and leaf strainers. So if you are not sure what you require, call PP and we will advise you on the best options to suit your needs.

Water Saving Devices

Water Restrictors – Installing these economical devices can considerably reduce your water usage. PP offer simple, cost effective solutions – Speak to the team about getting water saving aerators & inline restrictors added to your tap ware.

Dual Flush Toilets – According to Australian Government statistics an old toilet system can use up to 12 litres of water per flush. New water efficient dual flush toilets use around 4 litres.

Solar Hot Water

Solar hot water systems use the sun’s energy for power rather than electricity, vastly reducing energy costs and emissions.
Most of us use hundreds of litres of hot water every week in the bathroom, kitchen and laundry. However paying for every one of those litres to be heated has huge financial and environmental implications.
For more information on the Solar options best suited to your needs, call the PP team.

TOP TIP

Avoid unnecessarily high bills by regularly checking for water leaks.

You can get a quick indication by checking your own water meter when no toilets, taps or appliances are in use.  If the meter is still ticking over, this can indicate a leak.
